Well I've been very busy with my career here at UPS for the past several days. No time to blog. Just a note to say I hope everyone is having a good day. See you all on Saturday, only a few more classes left. Wow I will finally have my Bachelors Degree-I'm so very proud of myself. Now the hard works begins. In August I start Graduate school at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Good for me.

Friday's Rant

It has now been well over a year since the near collapse of our entire financial system that cost the nation more than 8 million jobs. To this day, hard-working families struggle to make ends meet.We've made strides -- businesses are starting to hire, Americans are finding jobs, and neighbors who had given up looking are returning to the job market with new hope. But the flaws in our financial system that led to this crisis remain unresolved.Wall Street titans still recklessly speculate with borrowed money. Big banks and credit card companies stack the deck to earn millions while far too many middle-class families, who have done everything right, can barely pay their bills or save for a better future.

Wednesday

Wow it's only two more days til the week end!! no school Saturday.
Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. Its called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar !!!

Tuesday

Today we lost a pioneer hip-hop artist at the age of 43, so young. R.I.P. Guru. Along with DJ Premier they were the group called Gang Starr- The Jazz & Hip Hop sounds of the late 80's early 90's. Cancer took the life of a young soldier. Bless his soul.

Monday

Has anybody watched the new HBO series Treme ? Life in New Orleans beyond Bourbon St. after Hurricane Katrina. Good show so far. I've been before and after the hurricane. It's not the same, tourist just see the glamour on Bourbon St. Devastation still exists there. But it is a people place and the people are wonderful. If you haven't been, you must go.

Saturday

My cousin was killed Friday morning in a car chase with the cops, pray for his soul. For I know he did not know the Lord and I am so afraid for his soul. God have mercy on him.

Well I got through my week from being on vacation the previous week. UPS is going thru a lot of restructuring. So far I still have a job. Thank God. I hope this lovely weather holds up.

Monday returning to work

I dreaded today, returning back to work after 10 days off, wow it's so hard to get back into this routine. I need that Power Ball !!!
